        Company Summary       

 

Palms Hardware & Services is Limited Liability Company owned by Peter Lee Palmer.  Palms Hardware is a newly established independent hardware store offering home improvement products to our customers and neighbors. 

Located in the historic Southeast area of St. Petersburg, Florida, Palms will cater to middle income-class individuals with estimated household incomes between $20,000 to $50,000.

 

STORE LOCATION

Palms will be located in historic Old Southeast neighborhood of Coquina Key in St. Petersburg, Florida. With the closest hardware location being over four miles away, Palms will satisfy a community need for a hardware store and will ideally become an anchor in the community.  In addition, the Coquina Key Plaza will be undergoing renovations starting with the hardware store, which will bring out the media and curious neighbors to help promote our location.

The surrounding tenants including Family Dollar, Advanced Auto Parts, CVS/Pharmacy, and a Save-a-Lot grocery store will enhance the shopping experience of Palms customer base.  Shopping at Palms will be easy and convenient due to the following factors:

  • Lighted exterior signage
  • Newly renovated, high visibility store front from the street level
  • Plentiful parking spots and lighted parking lot

STORE OPERATION

Palms will be open for business SEVEN days-a-week, closed major holidays.

Hours of operation will be:
    8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Monday - Friday
    8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays
    9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Sundays

Palms will initially be staffed with four full-time employees working 40 hours a week, and two part-time employees working 30 hours or less a week.  When not traveling or attending to outside business, the owner, Lee Palmer, will be on site daily and will provide additional sales and customer service.

STORE POLICIES

To most effectively service the customer, Palms will accept the following forms of payment: cash; check; credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express; debit card; and traveler's checks. The creation of house accounts will be considered. When accompanied by a sales receipt, merchandise returns will be granted a full refund within 14 days of purchase. A store credit will be granted within 30 days of purchase with or without a sales receipt. Damaged and defective items can be returned for exchange or refund via original form of payment.
